Anthony L. Cecere Memorial Endowed Scholarship

This scholarship is in memory of Anthony L. Cecere, who spent more than 50 years of his life serving the people of Ontario County in the law enforcement field. Cecere was an FBI Academy graduate. He was a director of the FBI training School in Rochester, a director at the Police Training School for the International Association of Identification, and director of the Finger Lakes Law Enforcement Associates. He received the Police Science Award from Law and Order Magazine in 1959. Cecere was Ontario County’s first chief detective.
